Application:
Taper Ties are used where specifications require or permit complete removal of the form tie from the concrete.
Features:
- 100% reusable tie
- 2-1/2 threads per inch
- Supplied with D/R thread for rapid installation and stripping
- For wrench turning purposes, taper ties are manufactured with a square end
- Available in 5/8″ – 15mm and 7/8″ – 20mm sizes
- Features the same diameter threads on both sides
- SWL=18,760 lbs. for 15mm; 32,500 lbs. for 20mm which provides a factor of safety of approximately 2 to 1
