An outside saddle bracket works in conjunction with an inside sleeve to provide accurate screed alignment and a sturdy, reinforced joint.

Strategically located eccentric weights, in combination with aluminum tubes, supply even, deep and intense vibrations that penetrate directly into the concrete over the entire length of the pour.

This cruiser comes fully equipped with several features right off the assembly line:
5 horsepower Honda engine
The engine will help you with the speed you need when screeding concrete to perfection.
The engine can be upgraded to 8 or 13 horse power engines depending on the size of your project or if you decide to use a hydraulic winch.
2 hand winches
Built for easy manual labor between two people. With a hand winch on each side of the screed, contractors can easily cover up to 3 feet per minute without sacrificing quality.
“Double Life” Finishing Tubes
Aluminum tubes better designed for smoothing the surface of concrete than regular angle blades. The design makes these tubes easily reversible and gives them twice the lifespan of other products.
Direct Drive system
No extra belts or pulleys necessary. This mechanism has reduced noise and improved effectiveness. The Direct Drive system makes Cruiser screeds move smoother and more efficiently.
The Speed Screed Heavy-Duty is excellent in working on slabs ranging from residential to commercial, streets/highways, and even airports.

Metal Forms Corporation (MFC) is a century-old company that designs, engineers, manufactures and markets quality products for general and concrete construction.
HISTORICAL HIGHLIGHTS
MFC was established in 1909 and became the first company to successfully design and produce steel forms for building monolithic concrete homes. This innovative spirit has continued for over 100 years with the development of a diverse product line identified by familiar registered trademarks.
In 1910, the company produced forms used to build hundreds of concrete homes inspired by the famous inventor, Thomas Edison.
In the early 1900s, concrete paving forms were introduced to support the heavy roadbuilding machines. Some of these machines were designed by Phillip Koehring (co-founder of the Koehring Machine Company) and brother-in-law of G. H. Miller (President of MFC).
Increased sales volume during the depression
MFC’s work week was raised to 55 hours and business was up 30% and an additional 20% in 1931. Construction of public buildings and roads were the main sources of the strong business atmosphere for MFC amidst the financial woes of many during the depression years.’
